Ross – Winter 2017

Picking up the wooden spoon last year was a cruel punishment for this proud competitor who missed all the morning events to care for his sick, pregnant wife and their baby. He gamely joined the afternoon events, at times carrying the aforementioned one year-old, but could not do enough to prevent himself finishing in a second consecutive last place. Robbie White emigrated rather than risk winning three wooden spoons in a row, so the pressure is on for Ross to up his game this year. But in his own words he is "mellowing with age" so is he up for the fight?
