Our youngest competitor this year is also our most superstitious – so much so that he will only enter Winter Superstars in even-numbered years. He is also only ever inspired to his best efforts in Olympic years; this is surely the only explanation for his second-place finish in 2012, followed by eighth in 2014. As Rio prepares to host the Olympics so we prepare for Robin to complete a Clifford triumvirate and finish near the top of the table.
