Latest winter result: Wooden spoon (2026) • Best winter result: Winner (2023)

Profile

Physically, the Juggernaut was destined to be a Winter competitor. Specialism in key events such as bowling and Chinese poker will put this competitor there or thereabouts, and anyone finishing above this man in the final table stands a real chance of overall glory.

Most embarrassing sporting moment: Completing the 80m Hurdles in 34sec after falling at the 2nd, 4th and 5th hurdles and rolling on the floor in laughter after the 5th; consequently Mr Barratt gave me a rollicking for not taking it seriously. (In my defence, Mr Barratt decided to raise the hurdles for my group as it contained such sporting greats as Jay Thomas, Andrew Brown, Wayne Kelly and Phil Lightfoot. I simply could not compete - although Andy Brown only finished a few secs ahead of me, but that's because he is a short arse.)

Chances: Better than at the Summer Event!

Joker: Bowling
